Bengals open to bringing back Geno Atkins, per report

Photo by Will Newton/ Duke Tobin had an interesting answer in regards to the team reuniting with Atkins. The Cincinnati Bengals added numerous players thus far this offseason, and subtracted one of their all-time greats in the process. Geno Atkins was released by the club just two-and-a-half weeks ago. The move saved the Bengals nearly $10 million in cap space, and paved the way for Atkins’ mentee, Larry Ogunjobi, to start in his place at defensive tackle. Atkins has not signed on with another team yet, and this could be good news for the Bengals. On the latest...

Should the Bengals pursue Jarran Reed?

Should the Bengals pursue Jarran Reed?

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports The Seahawks have released a veteran defensive lineman that the Bengals may want to look at. The Seahawks have released Jarran Reed, and the Bengals should at least consider signing him. Defensive line depth on the interior was shaky last year with injuries and opt outs. In the offseason, the Bengals released Geno Atkins and signed Larry Ogunjobi, but they may not be done there. Reed was a second-round pick out of Alabama in 2016. He played for the Seahawks for five years, and was re-signed after 2019, despite only playing in 10 games...

Bengals fans not impressed with team’s moves (so far)

Photo by Jamie Sabau/ The team had one job in free agency: fix that o-line. So far, they haven’t done enough, according to their fans. Not too long ago, the recent moves the Cincinnati Bengals made in free agency would have been both shocking and cause for celebration. The team never really spent on outside free agents until last year. That, of course, is partly due to the team failing to draft well in recent years— instead of giving huge deals to the likes of A.J. Green, Geno Atkins, or Carlos Dunlap, the team is trying stay afloat by poaching talented players...

Bengals attend LA Tech pro day, reportedly eying Milton Williams early in draft

The Bengals were on-hand to witness one of the most impressive pro days of the year. Geno Atkins’ time with the Cincinnati Bengals is over (for now, at least), and the team still has a pass-rushing need at defensive tackle. Larry Ogunjobi is slated to become the starting 3-technique; they just need someone who can work behind him. Enter Milton Williams. A 22-year old native of Crowley, Texas, Williams was a three-year player for Louisiana Tech. He’s flashed on the field many times, but he got everyone’s attention at his pro day. At 6-3, 284 pounds, Williams put on an...
