Two Eagles players named to PFWA 2018 All-NFL team

Well deserved. The Professional Football Writers of America officially announced their 2018 All-NFL team on Tuesday morning. Two Philadelphia Eagles made the cut this season: center Jason Kelce and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox. This marks the second year in a row both players have earned these honors. They’re obviously well deserved; Kelce and Cox are truly elite players at their positions. In addition to this list, one more Eagles player was named to the PFWA 2018 All-NFC team: right guard Brandon Brooks. Brooks also made the PFWA 2017 All-NFC team last year. Just another reminder...

Only two Eagles players made the 2018 NFL All-Pro Team

The voters got some things wrong. Two Philadelphia Eagles players have been named to the 2018 NFL All-Pro Team as voted on by The Associated Press: defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and center Jason Kelce. These honors are obviously well deserved. Cox posted a career-high 10.5 sacks this season and Kelce is capable of doing things not many other centers can do. This year marks the first first-team All-Pro honor of Cox’s career. He was previously named second-team All-Pro in 2014, 2015, and 2017. Cox also has four Pro Bowl selections to his name from 2015 through 2018. This year marks the...

Kelce is still hands down the best center in the NFL and the fact that he didn’t even make the Pro Bowl is a joke. No center can execute more blocks and more consistently than the Eagles center. He also added a career-high 87.7 grade in pass protection this season for good measure. DI – Aaron Donald, Los Angeles Rams & Fletcher Cox, Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles vs. Redskins snap count analysis: Fletcher Cox is an absolute beast

Playing time tracker. Here’s a breakdown of the snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles’ 24-0 shutout win over the Washington Redskins in Week 17 of the 2018 NFL season. OFFENSE The starting offensive line played most of the game with banged up guys like Jason Peters and Jason Kelce getting some snaps off at the end. Nelson Agholor played the most snaps of any Eagles skill player. He had five receptions for 40 yards and two touchdowns. It was the first multi-receiving touchdown game of his career. (Agholor did score two touchdowns against the Bears last year but one...
