Jeremy Maclin doesn't care about your fantasy football team

I can sense some frustration from Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin who sent this message out on Twitter Saturday morning: It amazes me how "Fantasy Football" is the only football that some of you know. It's sad. News flash for yall: I don't give a damn about ur "Fantasy" football team. From Maclin's standpoint, I can see how this would be very frustrating. People are probably tweeting him fantasy things all day long. He probably goes out in public and people ask him about fantasy. He's just trying to win a ring with the Chiefs yet many people want to talk about fantasy. That's gotta be...

Bengals Bites (8/29) - A Good Cheeseburger

Andy Reid compares calling a good play to enjoying a cheeseburger. A training camp tour. The Browns need Terrelle Pryor. Andy Reid on calling perfect play: "That's like a good cheeseburger" - Sportsnaut.comFollowing a purely average 2014 season, the 57-year-old certainly hopes the offense can find a little more of those cheeseburgers, especially after adding wide receiver Jeremy Maclin via free agency. Additionally, game-breaking speedster De’Anthony Thomas and tight end Travis Kelce should receive more targets this season. The MMQB Training Camp Tour Blog | The MMQB with Peter KingAfter...

Kansas City Chiefs are getting creative with Jeremy Maclin

Good point here from Rotoworld's Evan Silva on how the Kansas City Chiefs are using Jeremy Maclin. #Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin has lined up at Z and X, slot in red zone, got an end-around, and scored TD lined up at RB so far this preseason. — Evan Silva (@evansilva) August 27, 2015 In short, Maclin has lined up everywhere. The advantage he has as opposed to other newcomers is that he knows Andy Reid's offense having spent time in it in Philadelphia. That means Maclin can step right in and play numerous positions. This also speaks to why it's so difficult for a young receiver in Andy...

QBs Wilson, Smith struggle in Seahawks’ win over Chiefs

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Chiefs counterpart Alex Smith struggled behind their unsettled offensive lines in host Kansas City’s 14-13 preseason victory over Seattle on Friday. The Seattle linebacker returned it untouched 25 yards for a touchdown that gave the Seahawks a 10-7 halftime lead. Smith finished 11-of-18 for 81 yards with a touchdown pass to Jeremy Maclin. Quarterback Matt Ryan was sharp for the second straight preseason game, leading the visiting Falcons to touchdowns in both of his series in a loss to the Jets. Ryan finished 4-of-5 for 75 yards, including a...

Chiefs training camp: An offense without its top two receivers

What we saw at Chiefs camp on Tuesday. The Kansas City Chiefs were missing a couple of receivers at Tuesday's practice which led to more shuffling on offense. Jeremy Maclin (neck strain) and Albert Wilson (sick) did not practice which meant the Chiefs saw more of Frankie Hammond, Fred Williams and Jason Avant. Chris Conley returned to practice but I did not see him participating much in the live tackling portion of practice. He was, however, getting first and second team work in the installation period. The offense didn't seem to have a great day but given they were missing their top two...

Chiefs training camp: Jeremy Maclin has a neck strain, Chris Conley returns

The Kansas City Chiefs get one receiver back but lost another one. Per reports from Chiefs training camp, Andy Reid said that Chris Conley returned to practice for the first time since July 29. That's the good news. The bad news is that Jeremy Maclin has a neck strain. X-rays were negative, according to Adam Teicher. Andy Reid says Jeremy Maclin has a neck strain and that's why he did not practice. — Kansas City Chiefs (@chiefs) August 10, 2015 Maclin also missed a few plays in practice this weekend due to a jammed thumb. I don't need to tell you how important Maclin is to this Chiefs...

Watch Jeremy Maclin do his best David Tyree impression with this catch at Chiefs training camp

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin has the best catch of training camp. Maclin perfectly used the tip drill and then perfectly did an impression of David Tyree. You can watch the Tyree catch here. Compare it to the Maclin catch below, which the Chiefs did an excellent job of capturing in slow-mo (remember when we didn't have instant video highlights?). Today's #ChiefsCamp play of the day - brought to you by @jmac___19 pic.twitter.com/fbS51q22PK — Kansas City Chiefs (@chiefs) August 10, 2015 OK I'm going to be a stickler here. After he catches it on the tip and then pins it against...

Fight at Chiefs training camp between Jeremy Maclin, Marcus Cooper

It feels like it's been a while since we've had a fight at training camp but the Kansas City Chiefs provided one today. Per multiple accounts from practice, Jeremy Maclin and Marcus Cooper got into it after one play. Jeremy Maclin left Chiefs practice for 10 minutes and then he returned

Jeremy Maclin exited the practice field early and headed for the trainers tent after an apparent injury on Saturday at Kansas City Chiefs training camp. We all freaked out. And then he returned 10 minutes later, seemingly fine. So, we're all good? Multiple reporters stated that Maclin was seen headed to the trainers tent, which is typically where players go when they are hurt. A Twitter follower was in the right spot at the right time and sent this picture: Maclin with a hand/wrist injury but doesn't look serious, In some pain though #ChiefsCamp pic.twitter.com/RzVnA27rwI — Jon Capps...

Chiefs hope Jeremy Maclin can rescue anemic wide receiving corps

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — On the first day of training camp, Alex Smith dropped back in a full-squad drill and lofted a pass toward Jeremy Maclin, who pulled it in and sprinted to the end zone. Just like that, Maclin had scored more touchdowns — ONE — than all of the Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receivers combined last season. He had also showed why the Chiefs were so eager to sign him in free agency. read more
