Green Machine | Bergen Record — Defiant Jets running back Joe McKnight said Thursday he expects to be on the team this season, despite the fact the Jets acquired two veteran running backs in the off-season. “I don’t care who they bring in,” McKnight said. “They’ll have to kill me to take my spot. So, whoever they bring in, I don’t care.” McKnight, a fourth-round draft pick in 2010, has found success with the Jets as a kickoff returner, but hasn’t gotten many opportunities as a running back, In three seasons, he has 502 rushing yards at 4.5 yards per carry and 17 receptions, averaging 10.4 yards per catch.
