Redskins agree to 3 year, $21.75 million extension with DE Matt Ioannidis

IonMan! The Redskins got a big win today, and are extending underrated defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis for 3 years, $21.75 million. The former 5th round pick went from being cut and placed on the practice squad his rookie year, to being one of the best pentrating defensive lineman in the league. The Redskins spent heavy draft capital on their defensive line the last two years. Jonathan Allen and DaRon Payne were taken in the first round, and have solidified a yoing line fire years.
