Florida Times-Union Jordan Shipley has turned a six-game audition to finish last year into a two-year contract with the Jaguars that was officially announced Thursday. The sides agreed to terms earlier this week on a deal worth a reported $1.315 million. Shipley is the third free agent to re-sign with the Jaguars, joining cornerback Antwaun Molden and center Brad Meester, both of whom signed one-year contracts. A former third-round pick by Cincinnati, Shipley, 27, is expected to compete for the No. 3 receiver role behind Cecil Shorts and Justin Blackmon. read more
