Josh Morgan - Joshua Morgan hopes to be ready by May

The Huddle — Washington Redskins WR Joshua Morgan said he is on schedule in his recovery from offseason ankle surgery and hopes to be ready for the start of offseason workouts in May. Huddle Up: No need for Morgan to rush back, as the Redskins' quarterback isn't likely to be on the field any time soon. Still, any work he gets in now would go a long way towards helping him carve out a role in what has become a relatively crowded Washington receiving corps.

No indication he won't be ready to go when the Redskins begin offseason workouts, but so long as RG3 is sidelined the Redskins' receivers after Pierre Garcon are at best fringe fantasy factors anyway.

Nobody can suggest that the 49ers didn't make a concentrated effort to improve the position, of course. They signed Mario Manningham and Randy Moss in free agency, and made A.J. Jenkins their first-round pick of the 2012 NFL Draft. That being said, the position turned out to be very poor last season. Their were significant injuries to both Manningham and Kyle Williams, the ...
