After breakout year, Julian Edelman looms as linchpin of Patriots offense

Julian Edelman was an unexpected 100-catch receiver for the first time last season. He’s going to do it again in 2014.The pest of the Patriots has again been Tom Brady’s most efficient target through two weeks of training camp, evidenced by eight receptions on nine targets in each of the two days of team drills against the Redskins last week in Richmond, Va. "I have some of the little pygmies out there like Julian (5-10, 200) and Danny (5-11, 195), and it's nice to have a little bigger guy out there from time to time who has a big catch radius," Brady cracked.
