Edelman re-injures right foot; may be available for Patriots’ June mini-camp

Boston Globe — Patriots receiver Julian Edelman is in a walking boot after reinjuring his right foot, according to league sources. It was a break in his right foot that led him to be placed on injured reserve in December.

New England Patriots Blog | ESPN Boston — FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- While the expectation is that receiver Julian Edelman should be fine for the upcoming season, his offseason routine has been altered because his prior foot injury required some further medical attention, according to league sources. The Boston Globe reported earlier Tuesday that Edelman has been in a walking boot. This puts Edelman's availability for organized team activities (starting May 20 and ending June 7) and mandatory minicamp (June 11-13) in question.
