Broncos second-year safety Justin Simmons has a “mild” high ankle sprain and he’s considered day-to-day, coach Vance Joseph said Monday. In addition to Simmons, fellow safety Jamal Carter (shoulder) and quarterback Paxton Lynch (ankle) are also banged up.
