At ESPN, Arrington talks number change

New England Patriots Blog | ESPN Boston — As part of his day spent at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington made an appearance on an afternoon edition of SportsCenter. The recently re-signed defensive back shared some insight into his decision to relinquish his jersey number 24 to veteran free-agent signee Adrian Wilson, who previously offered Arrington a year's worth of diapers for his infant son in exchange for the number he's worn throughout his career.

Boston Herald — WOBURN — Kyle Arrington has been in a giving mood of late. First, he handed over his jersey number to veteran safety Adrian Wilson. Then, Friday night, the Patriots cornerback spent time helping raise money for The One Fund Boston, in support of victims of the marathon bombings.Arrington was at Scoreboards Bar & Grill signing autographs, posing for pictures and greeting guests at the fund-raiser, which brought in $7,500.

Kyle Arrington, Zoltan Mesko to hold draft party to benefit Marathon victims

The Point After | Boston Herald — Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington and Zoltan Mesko are hosting a draft party Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Kowloon in Saugus, Mass., and they've announced a portion of the proceeds will now benefit the victims of the Marathon bombings.Tickets are $25 and will include a buffet dinner, and there will also be raffles, games and other prizes. Proceeds will also benefit Jared Coppola, a former St. John's Prep football player who broke his neck on the field.
