Buffalo Bills: LeSean McCoy Call Writers 'Nerds' Over Rankings Snub

It appears Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is unhappy for not making the list of Top 101 Players during the 2016 season from Pro Football Focus. When it comes to the top running backs in the NFL, LeSean McCoy of the Buffalo Bills has built a strong case for ranking near the top of the list ...

PFF’s highest rated players include a few Buffalo Bills

LeSean McCoy, Richie Incognito, and Tyrod Taylor ranked among the best players at their positions in 2016. Now that the NFL season is complete, it’s a good time to take stock of what happened on the field in 2016. The final grades from Pro Football Focus are in the books, and while you can argue with their outcomes they offer a fairly good starting point when considering the best players in the NFL. The highest placement any Bills player received among position groups was sixth, where LeSean McCoy placed among running backs and Richie Incognito placed among guards. Shady was notably kept...

The Greatest Eagle

The legend of Steve Van Buren - whose slashing running style revolutionized pro football in the 1940s and who quit after eight explosive seasons and two NFL championships as the league's then-all-time rusher - continues to intrigue Eagles fans, even with the game morphing into a multibillion-dollar entertainment empire that will be capped with next Sunday's Super Bowl spectacle that would be unrecognizable to the sport's "Greatest Generation." It took 66 years for an Eagle - LeSean McCoy - to finally surpass Van Buren's 1945 feat of 18 touchdowns, and it required a 16-game schedule. Van Buren...

LeSean McCoy: “I’m the best in the NFL”

LeSean McCoy: “I’m the best in the NFL”

Shady ranks himself first among NFL running backs. Never one to lack in confidence, Buffalo Bills’ running back LeSean McCoy made quite a statement last week. In an interview with Cari Champion of ESPN, McCoy stated that the best running back in the NFL isn’t Ezekiel Elliott, nor is it Le’Veon Bell; instead, it’s Shady himself. "I still feel like healthy, there's no back that can touch me," McCoy said. "For sure. A healthy me, for 16 weeks, for sure." McCoy continued to list his top backs in the league, starting with himself, and moving on to Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh...

LeSean McCoy not among PFF’s top 101 players

LeSean McCoy not among PFF’s top 101 players

The organization had some pretty weak reasoning for snubbing him, too. LeSean McCoy has no doubt in his abilities, as he said earlier this week that he considers himself to be the best running back in football. In their annual list of the 101 best players in the NFL, Pro Football Focus disagrees with Shady’s self-evaluation. Scanning the list, only 5 running backs crack the top 101: Ezekiel Elliott (22 overall), David Johnson (23), Le’Veon Bell (27), Jay Ajayi (31), and Jordan Howard (75). Of these five names, the biggest surprise, in my opinion, is how highly-ranked Ajayi is....
