LeSean McCoy has struggled in recent weeks. Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy may have been replaced in the starting lineup for a Wednesday practice session, but the NFL's fourth-leading rusher is in no danger of actually losing playing time to Chris Polk. McCoy hasn't put up big numbers in recent weeks, compiling just 64 yards in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 15 and 50 yards on 17 carries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14.

Five Eagles players made the list: running back LeSean McCoy, punt returner Darren Sproles, left tackle Jason Peters, center Jason Kelce, and outside linebacker Connor Barwin. The event will take place on Jan. 25 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. Only two Eagles players were named to the original roster in 2014: LeSean McCoy and Jason...

The Linc - LeSean McCoy feels like the Eagles season was a waste of time

It makes total sense that this type of coach would approach a "meaningless" season finale as he did other...

Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 16: LeSean McCoy not as must-start guy

LeSean McCoy is not what he used to be. Philadelphia Eagles running back is one of the most disappointing players in the NFL this season. One year after leading the NFL in rushing and being the top back in fantasy, he's the No. 12 back in 2014 for PPR and he has burned his owners badly in his past two weeks, totaling just 10 points combined in PPR.

Eagles' McCoy getting fewer touches

LeSean McCoy is getting fewer snaps and touches in the red zone over the last eight games. He is having a solid season by most estimates, but his rushing and receiving statistics have declined and with a $10 million salary next season in which only $1 million is guaranteed, there is more to speculation that the Eagles' franchise running back may not return in 2015.

If Washington Redskins stop Eagles' LeSean McCoy, pressure will once again be on Mark Sanchez

If the Redskins are able to stop McCoy and the running game the second time around as well, the Eagles will need Sanchez to step up the way Foles did back in Week 3.

Polk becoming Eagles' new goal-line back

Eagles own one of the worst red-zone offenses in NFL It appears Chris Polk has become the Eagles' goal-line specialist. He played three snaps against the Cowboys Sunday and two were short rushing touchdowns. On another snap inside the 5, Darren Sproles got the carry and scored. LeSean McCoy led the NFL in rushing last year and is on pace for 1,293 yards this year, fourth-most in the NFL. But the Eagles have struggled in the red zone all year, and the Eagles believe Polk's size and power give him an advantage through traffic near the end zone. The switch from McCoy to Polk deep in the...

Pro Bowl Voting Update: LeSean McCoy, Darren Sproles among top Eagles voted by fans

The final results of fan voting for the Pro Bowl are here. Which Eagles players made the list? The 2015 Pro Bowl roster won't be announced until December 23, but for now the fan voting results are in. Keep in mind fan voting only accounts for one third of the process. NFL players and coaches each own a third of the voting responsibility as well. Some of the results are hilariously awful. For example, Brian Hoyer is the 10th overall quarterback. He's not even starting anymore for Cleveland. The following Eagles players finished in top 10 at their respective position: Running back: LeSean...

Chris Polk, not LeSean McCoy, takes first team reps during Eagles practice

What does it mean? According to CSN Philly's Reuben Frank, Eagles star running back LeSean McCoy did not take his regular first team snaps with the first team in practice on Wednesday. Instead, he was replaced by backup running back Chris Polk. "Most of Eagles practice is closed to the media, but the first several sessions are open, and on Wednesday, when the starting offense lined up to walk through a couple running plays, Polk was with the group. He was the only non-starter in the formation.Polk took two half-speed handoffs from Mark Sanchez and then the group broke up. The first offense...
