The Kansas City Chiefs are missing Eric Berry

The Kansas City Chiefs are missing Eric Berry

Warren Moon and a couple of former KC Chiefs quarterbacks, Rich Gannon and Trent Green, were on a CBS Sports TV show on Monday. I saw some quotes from the show and Moon brought up something I wanted to mention: the Chiefs are missing Eric Berry. “I think there’s enough blame to go all the way around because that explosive offense that started off the season like gangbusters just came to a halt like five weeks ago…This is a team that is not playing together. They lack leadership. We saw what happened with Marcus Peters and his eruption. They really need some leadership back there. They...

Arrowheadlines: Chiefs storylines include Darrelle Revis, Marcus Peters, Alex Smith

Kansas City Chiefs will need more from Darrelle Revis down the stretch | ESPN “I tried to come in with a game plan in not letting the No. 1 wide receiver in the league who’s a deep threat in Robby Anderson get over the top of me and try to control him that way," Revis said. “I think I did OK. I’m not going to say that’s one of my better games, but it’s something I can build on." Upon Further Review: Eight Quick Facts Following the Chiefs’ Loss on Sunday | Chiefs.com Hill tallied six catches for a career-high 185 yards and two scores against New York, catching multiple...

Chiefs haven’t decided on potential Marcus Peters discipline

Chiefs haven’t decided on potential Marcus Peters discipline

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking at potentially disciplining Marcus Peters after he picked up the ref’s flag in Sunday’s loss to the Jets and flung it into the MetLife Stadium crowd. Peters ran off the field thinking he was ejected but came back — without his socks on! It was a weird day overall. For the flag-throwing-and-running-off incident, the Chiefs are considering potential discipline for Peters. Via ESPN’s Adam Teicher: Andy Reid said he's "evaluating" whether CB Marcus Peters will be disciplined for retreating for the locker room before the end of Sunday's game against...

Marcus Peters threw the ref’s flag into the stands, left game

Marcus Peters threw the ref’s flag into the stands, left game

The Kansas City Chiefs are melting down. The Chiefs got yet another penalty on the Jets two-point conversion late in Sunday’s game against the Jets. Steven Nelson was going to be flagged for holding after the Chiefs forced an incomplete pass. This was Nelson’s second penalty on that drive after extending that same drive earlier with a holding call in the end zone. Chiefs CB Marcus Peters quickly got in the face of the ref after the flag went down and then PETERS PICKED UP THE FLAG AND CHUCKED IT INTO THE STANDS! MARCUS PETERS THREW A REF'S FLAG INTO THE STANDS #CHIEFS...

Marcus Peters whiffed on an interception for the Chiefs

Marcus Peters whiffed on an interception for the Chiefs

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor lofted a pass high in the air that looked like it had a good chance of being picked off by the Kansas City Chiefs. Marcus Peters looked like he was headed for a pick six and then ... WHIFF. I like Marcus Peters and think he’s one of the best cover corners in the league but good grief my man pic.twitter.com/S9oH6fuUZi— Nick Bromberg (@NickBromberg) November 26, 2017 He just missed the interception. From the TV angle, it looked like he was going to have an easy interception and take it back for a score. Then he just missed it. Worse, he didn’t even...

Chiefs CB Marcus Peters asks President Trump for a meeting

Chiefs CB Marcus Peters asks President Trump for a meeting

It’s 2017 so this is a real sentence: President Donald Trump criticized Marshawn Lynch for sitting during the National Anthem (again) so Marcus Peters tweeted at the President asking for a sit down with him. Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 20, 2017 Here is Peters’ response: Was going on big dog I know we got a lot that needs to be talk...

Chiefs’ Derrick Johnson played just half the snaps vs. the Giants

Chiefs’ Derrick Johnson played just half the snaps vs. the Giants

Derrick Johnson used to be a lock to play every snap for the Kansas City Chiefs. along with Eric Berry, Ron Parker and Marcus Peters, DJ would be one of a few players who would play every snap. This season is different. He’s coming off his Achilles so I thought perhaps early on in the season as he came back he wouldn’t be playing every snap but he was. He played at least 97 percent of the snaps in five of the Chiefs first six games. He played all 73 defensive snaps as recently as Week 8 vs. the Broncos. Something has changed in the last couple of weeks as his snaps have dropped quite a...

Marcus Peters, Marshawn Lynch are giving out turkeys

It looks like the Fam 1st Family Foundation — to us, that’s Marshawn Lynch and Marcus Peters — will be giving away turkeys over the next week. I saw Chiefs CB Marcus Peters tweet this image of a turkey giveaway in Oakland this Sunday which he presumably won’t be attending because the Chiefs will be playing the Giants at the same time. Then I saw Marshawn Lynch, who is also affiliated with the Fam 1st Family Foundation, tweet out this image of a turkey giveaway in Kansas City the day after the Oakland one.

Kansas City Chiefs lead the way with 3 players on top 25 under 25 list

Kansas City Chiefs lead the way with 3 players on top 25 under 25 list

The Kansas City Chiefs had three players on ESPN’s list of the 25 best players under 25 years old: CB Marcus Peters, RB Kareem Hunt and WR Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs were the only team with three players listed. Peters (24 years old) was third on the list behind Joey Bosa and Carson Wentz. That’s fair. Cornerback is a premium position and he’s the best at his age but so is pass rusher and quarterback. Hunt (22) was ranked 14th and Tyreek (23) was 15th. In terms of impact, I would probably put Tyreek ahead of Hunt because he has made the Chiefs offense so explosive in the past two...
