2015 NFL Draft: Brett Hundley met with Eagles for private workout and film session

The Eagles continue to show interest in the UCLA passer. According to Rob Rang of CBS Sports, the Eagles met with 2015 NFL Draft prospect quarterback Brett Hundley on Wednesday for a private workout and film session. To clarify: this wasn't a case of Hundley visiting for an official pre-draft visit. And Chip Kelly obviously wasn't meeting with Hundley considering he was busy giving a press conference in Philadelphia yesterday. Still, this is at least a little interesting considering the Eagles just traded for Sam Bradford on Tuesday. They also have Mark Sanchez signed through 2016 and Matt...

Eagles News: Mark Sanchez vs. Nick Foles quarterback competition expected?

Philadelphia Eagles news and links for 3/8/2015. Let's get to the links... Eagles Re-Sign Mark Sanchez - Birds 24/7A source close to Foles expressed no surprise when news of the Sanchez signing came down. The Foles camp was expecting this by the sounds of it, and aren't necessarily viewing it as a sign of Foles' imminent departure. Both sides are expecting a quarterback competition. If Sanchez wins and hangs onto the job, he'll be rewarded. There are play-time and team success incentives that begin to kick in when Sanchez reaches the 50 percent play-time threshold, per a league source. If...

Eagles re-sign Mark Sanchez: Marcus Mariota in and Nick Foles out?

What does Sanchez re-signing in Philadelphia mean for the Eagles quarterback situation? The fact that the Eagles re-signed veteran backup quarterback Mark Sanchez on Sunday evening did not come as a total surprise. What was interesting, however, was the money he received: a deal worth a max value of $16 million over two years with $5.5 million guaranteed. That's certainly a lot of money for a mere backup. So what does this mean for the Eagles quarterback situation moving forward? Speculation has already begun that the Eagles gave Sanchez this deal in order to be a Doug Pederson-type...

Titans miss out on The Sanchise; Mark Sanchez to return to Eagles

Well, that was quick. Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network is reporting that Mark Sanchez has re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles: QB Mark Sanchez is heading back to the #Eagles, source said — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 8, 2015 This should settle the natives down on Twitter a little bit.  Everyone was all up in arms thinking the Titans were going to sign Sanchez and hand him the keys to the kingdom.  I can't imagine that was ever the plan. I am still of the belief that the Titans need to bring in a veteran to compete with Zach Mettenberger, and it needs to be somebody better...

NFL Free Agency 2015: Titans showing interest in Mark Sanchez

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports is reporting that the Titans have shown interest in former Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez: Titans are showing decent interest in Mark Sanchez, sources say. A return to Philly remains a possibility. Well see how this plays out.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 8, 2015 Sanchez is not going to lead a team to the Super Bowl.  He really isn't that good, but the Titans need to bring in someone that can compete with Zach Mettenberger and/or be a decent back-up.  Charlie Whitehurst is not that guy.  Sanchez can be. Some people might take adding Sanchez, if...
