Jets waive Pantale

Former Wayne Valley star Chris Pantale was waived today by the Jets. Pantale, a tight end, was on the Jets’ roster in both 2013 and 2014, and made his NFL debut in a loss to Miami on Dec. 1, 2014. He returned a kickoff for 24 yards in that game. It was his only touch as a Jet. Pantale, who turned 25 in March, was signed by the previous front-office regime as an undrafted free agent in April 2013, and was waived at the end of the preseason in both 2013 and ‘14.
