Riding momentum, Vick says he’s ready to take on the Bills

Jets @ Bills: Five Bold Predictions

Be bloody, bold, and resolute; laugh to scorn the power of man. MacBeth, Act 4, Scene 1, William Shakespeare. Disclaimer:  A Bold Prediction is not something that is likely or probable to happen. Bold Predictions are guesses that are beyond what anyone can reasonably expect to happen, but not so far as to be physically impossible. Saying that Michael Vick is going to throw for 162 yards and one touchdown is not a bold prediction, nor is saying that Chris Ivory will run for 423 yards and eight touchdowns. By definition, Bold Predictions are...

Michael Vick Appreciates Having The Chance To Start

When Vick and the Eagles parted company, the veteran didn't know whether he would get another opportunity in the NFL, now that he has, he's not taking it for granted. Michael Vick became the first ever NFL quarterback to rush for 6,000 yards, and he did so in his second start of the season. However for Vick, there were no guarantees he would get the chance to reach such a milestone. He came to the Jets with the understanding that Geno Smith was the starter, John Idzik may have promoted his mantra of competition, however in reality everyone wanted to see Smith start. With Geno struggling in...

Under the spotlight: Michael Vick and Demario Davis

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Each week we will select two players on the New York Jets -- one on offense, one on defense -- who figure to play a key role in the upcoming game. The Jets face the Buffalo Bills (5-5) on Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Michael Vick, quarterback -- Vick, making his third straight start, has to play better than he did in the Week 8 loss to the Bills. In that game, he committed three turnovers (two fumbles and one interception) in three quarters.

Report: Jets-Bills could be moved due to snow - Michael Vick (QB) New York Jets

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that the time slot for Sunday's Jets-Bills game in Buffalo could be moved due to snow.

Jets QB Michael Vick relishes starting again

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The last time the Jets played the Bills, Geno Smith threw three interceptions in the first quarter and Michael Vick replaced him. The Jets lost that game on Oct. 26, 43-23, and Vick couldn't help but wonder if he'd be kept on the first team. "I walked off the field with mixed emotions," Vick said. "I think the only thing I could think about was the mistakes I made. Was I going to get an opportunity to do it again? I kind of felt like I would because there were some good things that I did, but ultimately the turnovers overrode everything.

Michael Vick 'embarrassed' by three-turnover outing against Bills

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- If the New York Jets want to show improvement, they've got the perfect opportunity this week. Their previous meeting against the Buffalo Bills was the low point of the season, a six-turnover, 43-23 loss in Week 8. You might recall that Geno Smith threw three straight interceptions, and that was the end for him. In came Michael Vick, who didn't help matters with an interception and two lost fumbles. Since then, the turnover machine has been stuck in a "off" position -- none in the last two games for the Vick-led offense.

Jets’ priority against Bills: Hold onto to the ball

The last time the Jets played the Bills, Geno Smith was the starter in a 43-23 loss at MetLife Stadium on Oct. 26. Smith threw three interceptions in the first quarter that day, and was replaced by Michael Vick, who contributed three turnovers of his own. Now the starter, Vick has to avoid a similar fate when the Jets play the Bills again on Sunday.
