The 49ers continue working with their veterans to clear salary cap space. A week after Mario Manningham agreed to a lower base salary, outside linebacker Parys Haralson has agreed to a decreased salary. According to Ian Rapoport, Haralson agreed to a new contract worth $1.3 million with incentives that could boost it to $1.7 million. He was previously on the books for $2.87 million in 2013.
