Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Geoff Swaim, Randy Gregory limited but practicing

The injury report is in for the Cowboys and Eagles game. The Dallas Cowboys have a list if players that we already know won’t be playing on Sunday versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Sean Lee and Connor Williams are new additions to a group that already included Tavon Austin and Joe Thomas. Yesterday it was reported Lee will probably miss 4-6 weeks with his hamstring issue, leaving the field clear for Leighton Vander Esch to continue his impressive rookie season. The rest of the injury report: Rod Marinelli said "so far so good" with DE Randy Gregory on track to play vs. Eagles.Still no...

Jason Garrett: Dak Prescott needs to recognize game situations with regards to turnovers

Coach updates us on the state of the Cowboys. It’s been a brutal week for the Cowboys after losing to the Titans and injuries piling up. Jason Garrett addressed all things Cowboys with the press on Thursday. (All Garrett answers are paraphrased and not actual quotes). Updates on the injured players? Geoff Swaim should practice some today, David Irving will not, we are hopeful Randy Gregory will, if Taco Charlton does anything it will be very limited. I don’t have any specifics on his shoulder. How about the competition at guard? It’s a good competition but yesterday’s practice...

Cowboys point/counterpoint: Is there any reason to expect Randy Gregory or David Irving to contribute?

Cowboys point/counterpoint: Is there any reason to expect Randy Gregory or David Irving to contribute?

So much athleticism. So little actual production. The two big developments of the bye week for the Dallas Cowboys focused on the offense. That was because the problems this season have mostly been on that side of the ball, with the defense having been more effective and consistent through the first seven games. The Amari Cooper and Paul Alexander moves were seen by many as the team not wanting to waste such a strong defensive performance. But it hasn’t all been great for the defense, either. Two players that were expected to play big roles have had almost no impact so far, DE Randy...

Report: Randy Gregory had scope on knee, hopeful to play against Titans in Week 9

Report: Randy Gregory had scope on knee, hopeful to play against Titans in Week 9

The bye week helps Randy Gregory after minor surgery. It’s the bye week for the Dallas Cowboys which means there’s no game this week and there’s all the more time to get healthy in preparation for their next contest. This extra time is going to be necessary for defensive end Randy Gregory who underwent a knee scope on Tuesday afternoon. Randy has played in six of the Cowboys’ seven games this season (missed Giants in Week 2) which was long thought to be an impossibility when he was dealing with issues off of the field. If he was going to have his knee scoped now is obviously the...
