Hilton left practice with a finger injury, and was later seen on the sidelines with ice and a hand wrap, according to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star. Hilton led Colts receivers last year with 82 catches on 138 targets for 1,083 yards. Hilton became Colts QB Andrew Luck's leading target after Colts WR Reggie Wayne was lost for the season to a knee injury. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Hopefully the this problem is a mild one. Hand injuries are particularly troublesome for wide receivers. If he's at full strength, Hilton stands to improve over his 2013 statistics ths year as Wayne returns to the...

Some (Very) Early Thoughts on the Colts Wide Receiver Position

Stampede Blue's Josh Wilson shares what he's seen from the wide receiver position through the first three days of training camp for the Colts. Through the first three days of Colts camp, no position has caught more attention than the wide receiver group.  Of course, this can be explained easily enough by the return of star receiver Reggie Wayne, as well as the impressive performances of T.Y. Hilton.  It's not hard to understand why the Colts receiver position has caught so much attention. But there are a few other receivers who are receiving (get it?) quite a bit of attention through the...

Reggie Wayne: "Today felt Pretty Doggone Good"

Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne was back today, and it was great to see. Reggie thought it was great too, saying that "today felt pretty doggone good." Nine months ago this past Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts were closing out a massive Sunday Night Football win over the previously undefeated Denver Broncos in Peyton Manning's return to Indy.  In the fourth quarter of that game, star wide receiver Reggie Wayne went down to get a low pass and went to the ground clutching his knee.  And just like that, Reggie had torn his ACL and was lost for the season. As he lay on the field at Lucas Oil...

Colts WR Reggie Wayne cleared for camp

Wayne has passed a physical and been cleared for camp, according to Colts reporter Kevin Bowen. Wayne has been recovering from a torn ACL suffered against the Broncos last year. The 35-year old WR will rejoin a Colts passing attack that includes WR T.Y. Hilton and newly acquired WR Hakeem Nicks. Before his injury last year, Wayne caught 38 balls for 503 yards and three touchdowns in just seven games. FANTASY ANALYSIS: While this news was expected, it's good to have it confirmed that Wayne is 100% and ready for camp. Strange as it is to say, Wayne has tremendous sleeper potential this year....

14 for '14 Number 11: WR Reggie Wayne

In the 14 days leading up to the Indianapolis Colts reporting for training camp on July 23, we will count down the 14 most important players to the Colts success in 2014. Today, we look at number 11, wide receiver Reggie Wayne. Nothing was more devastating to the Colts in 2013 than the injury to wide receiver Reggie Wayne.  It's hard to overstate his impact to the Colts in 2012 and through the first seven weeks of the 2013 season, and when he went down in the fourth quarter of that game against the Broncos, the course of the season for the Colts was changed drastically, and the team...
