Wide receiver Reggie Wayne of the Indianapolis Colts returned to practice in full Friday and is on track to return to the team for their Monday night tilt with the New York Giants. Wayne missed the team's Week 8 game against Pittsburgh. Wayne is second on the team in receptions (38) and yards (434). He has one touchdown on the year. FANTASY ANALYSIS: Not that QB Andrew Luck has missed him, but Wayne making it back to the field for the Colts only helps the league's leading passer. While 35 years-old, Wayne is still a reliable pair of hands and exceptional route-runner. He's the kind of...

Colts are better equipped to handle playing without Reggie Wayne this year

Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne is out for this Sunday's game against the Steelers, but unlike last year, the Colts are actually well-equipped to play without the star wideout. Last season, the Colts looked like a Super Bowl contender through the first seven games of the season, notching wins over the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, and Denver Broncos.  In week seven, however, star wide receiver Reggie Wayne tore his ACL.  And the Colts weren't the same after that. Pinning it solely on the loss of Reggie Wayne is stupid and lazy, as the defense had some terrible games after that,...

Reggie Wayne has MRI on elbow

Status uncertain It's uncertain if the Indianapolis Colts will have veteran wideout Reggie Wayne when they travel to Pittsburgh Sunday to face the Steelers. He underwent an MRI test Monday afternoon to determine the severity of the injury (elbow). "We'll know more (later)," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. "We'll meet with the doctors later tonight, tomorrow." (Indianapolis Star) FF Today's Take: Wayne fell on his elbow during Sunday's win against the Bengals but did return to action. Wayne ranks 36th among fantasy wideouts and is a low-end WR3 with limited upside.
