Creating a defense from the Geathers family tree

Now that the Bengals have both Robert Geathers Jr. and Kwame Geathers, here's a look at the Geathers family tree and the creation of an 11-man Geathers defense. Here's a look at the Geathers family and how an entire defense could theoretically be created out of it. Robert Geathers Sr., held up by his sons in the above photo, was a third-round pick by the Bills in 1981, out of South Carolina State. Bengals sign Kwame Geathers to practice squad after Seahawks nab David King

The Bengals replaced David king with Kwame Geathers on the practice squad. The Cincinnati Bengals lost defensive lineman David King after the Seattle Seahawks signed him off the practice squad. Replacing him there will be defensive lineman Kwame Geathers, the Bengals announced Thursday. He's the brother of current Bengals defensive end Robert Geathers. Kwame originally was signed by the San Diego Chargers after he went undrafted out of Georgia in 2013. Tyler Eifert, Vontaze Burfict and Adam Jones miss Bengals practice

Offensive lineman Mike Pollak and defensive end Robert Geathers got veteran's days off Wednesday, while cornerback Adam Jones also sat out. It doesn't look like the Bengals are expecting Tyler Eifert to practice anytime soon. The second-year tight end continues to miss practice while recovering from a dislocated elbow suffered in Week 1. He was eligible to return against the Cleveland Browns on Nov. 6.
