Instant analysis on Patriots moves

New England Patriots Blog | ESPN Boston — Some quick-hit thoughts on the Patriots' roster moves: 1. The move is not a surprise as the Patriots' depth chart at receiver looks set with Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Brandon Tate, Julian Edelman and Sam Aiken.

Who's on 'Big Four' for special teams?

New England Patriots Blog | ESPN Boston — FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In the preseason, a player participating on all of the “big four” special teams units -- kickoff coverage, kick return, punt coverage and punt return -- is typically a good indication of how a player is valued by a team.
