Seahawks hope to bring back Steven Schilling, Kevin Williams, Demarcus Dobbs, and Tarvaris Jackson

Secondary free agency is now in full swing for the Seahawks, and John Schneider and Pete Carroll are working on re-signing some of the team's own free agents. Per Bob Condotta, reporting from the NFL Owners Meetings in Phoenix, Carroll indicated the Seahawks are working to bring back C/G Steven Schilling, DT/NT Kevin Williams, DE/DT Demarcus Dobbs, and QB Tarvaris Jackson. Getting Williams and Dobbs back on the defensive line would be great for depth and would put the Seahawks in a nice position going into the draft where they don't have to get too desperate with adding an interior lineman...

The Seattle Seahawks will re-sign several of their own unrestricted free agents to provide the club with additional depth, head coach Pete Carroll said on Wednesday. Seahawks notes: Tarvaris Jackson visiting Dolphins

Bringing free-agent backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson back to the Seahawks may be a bit harder than initially thought. Dolphins hosting Tarvaris Jackson, J.D. Walton along with Crabtree

The Miami Dolphins have three free agent visits scheduled for today. The Miami Dolphins will be busy on Thursday, welcoming several free agents into their team facilities on visits. News yesterday indicated wide receiver Michael Crabtree would be in Davie today, with reports now adding quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and center J.D. Walton to the group. The Dolphins, who will not match the offer extended by the Buffalo Bills to tight end Charles Clay, have about $17 million in salary cap space. Adding Crabtree would give Miami a veteran wide receiver in a group of young wide outs, headlined by...

Tarvaris Jackson visits the Dolphins

Seahawks free agent quarterback Tarvaris Jackson will visit the Dolphins today, reports Ian Rapoport. Jackson has been the Seahawks' backup the last two seasons and Pete Carroll has gone on record to state that Seattle wants him back and has been in negotiations to get that done, but it looks like T-Jack is looking to give himself a little bit of leverage. Jackson has appeared in only four games over the past two years, all garbage time with the Seahawks leading heavily, and has completed 11 of 14 passes. He's been in Darrell Bevell's system nearly his whole career and is well respected and...
