Cowboys vs. Falcons injury report: Tyron Smith, Zack Martin return to practice

Cowboys vs. Falcons injury report: Tyron Smith, Zack Martin return to practice

The Cowboys got some reassuring news at practice today. After yesterday’s injury report that was long and included two of the Cowboys starting offensive linemen, Tyron Smith and Zack Martin, things look definitively better today. Both Smith and Martin returned to practice today, in a limited fashion, making it very likely both will be on the field on Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons. Not practicing today are Sean Lee, as expected, and Tavon Austin, as expected. Joining them in the ‘did not participate’ list were four defensive linemen. David Irving, Taco Charlton, Daniel Ross and...

Cowboys vs Falcons injury report: Tyron Smith doesn’t practice along with five defensive linemen

The Cowboys injury report is suddenly a very lone one. The Cowboys injury list is growing as the season is progressing. Today they had nine players who did not participate in practice. One of those is a guy that has been out a while in Tavon Austin. Then there are the more recent additions like Sean Lee and David Irving. Here is the full list: Cowboys injury report. No Tyron Smith (back) today. pic.twitter.com/Eocyf0mWEF— Calvin Watkins (@calvinwatkins) November 14, 2018 New to the list, and a little surprising, is Tyron Smith with a back issue, something he has battled for a few...

Cowboys vs. Eagles inactives: Williams, Charlton, Irving, Lee inactive; Su’a-filo, Lenoir, Brown active

Sunday Night Football inactive list. The Cowboys and Eagles... Sunday Night football. Before we get to football, we have to get to inactive list for both teams. Both teams are pretty banged up and desperately needing a victory after a Washington win earlier today. Cowboys Inactives Cowboys’ inactives, officially: Mike White, Tavon Austin, Joe Thomas, Sean Lee, Connor Williams, David Irving, Taco Charlton #cowboyswire— David Helman (@HelmanDC) November 11, 2018 This is an ugly list for the Dallas Cowboys. You could argue that four or five of the Cowboys starters will not be active...

Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Geoff Swaim, Randy Gregory limited but practicing

The injury report is in for the Cowboys and Eagles game. The Dallas Cowboys have a list if players that we already know won’t be playing on Sunday versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Sean Lee and Connor Williams are new additions to a group that already included Tavon Austin and Joe Thomas. Yesterday it was reported Lee will probably miss 4-6 weeks with his hamstring issue, leaving the field clear for Leighton Vander Esch to continue his impressive rookie season. The rest of the injury report: Rod Marinelli said "so far so good" with DE Randy Gregory on track to play vs. Eagles.Still no...

Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Dallas defensive line getting thin

Cowboys vs. Eagles injury report: Dallas defensive line getting thin

The first injury report of the week for the Cowboys and Eagles game. The Dallas Cowboys have to regroup and head up to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles on Sunday night after a poor performance in Week 9. If the Cowboys want to keep up any facade of being in playoff contention they have to win on the road against their NFC East rival. Injuries will play a big part of that. We already know that the Cowboys will be without guard Connor Williams and linebacker Sean Lee. That was reported earlier in the day. They will join Tavon Austin and Joe Thomas as players that won’t be part of the...

Cowboys news: Receiver rotation should be shortened with Amari Cooper’s arrival

Check out today’s latest and greatest news surrounding America’s team. Mailbag: The New Rotation At WR? - DallasCowboys.com With Amari Cooper added to the mix, what will the new rotation at WR look like coming off the bye week? With this trade how does it affect the other receivers guys like Allen Hurns, Deonte Thompson, Tavon Austin and maybe Michael Gallup? - BILLY MORRISON / Los Angeles, CA David: To be perfectly frank, I hope the addition of Cooper puts an end to some of this rotating. That’s not a knock against Allen Hurns or Deonte Thompson — it’s really not. But Cooper and...

The Amari Cooper trade seems risky, but here’s why you should trust the front office

The Amari Cooper trade seems risky, but here’s why you should trust the front office

The Cowboys front office asks you to reserve judgment. I’m going to sound like a homer on this one, but bare with me: give the front office the benefit of the doubt, Sure, the Amari Cooper trade - in which the Cowboys gave up a first-round pick for the receiver - seems risky. It is, and that’s usually the nature of trades. Trading Ryan Switzer for Jihad Ward was a risk that didn’t work out, but didn’t burn the Cowboys. Trading a pick for Tavon Austin was a risk that’s mostly worked out, even if he is injured again. That’s football. But those trades are minor compared to giving...

Cowboys roster update: Brice Butler let go to make room for Amari Cooper

Cowboys roster update: Brice Butler let go to make room for Amari Cooper

The Cowboys signed Brice Butler, but never really used him and now he will be released. The Dallas Cowboys traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper on Monday, and that means a lot of things. One of the more matter-of-fact things that the trade for Cooper means is that a roster spot has to be created for him. The Cowboys have a lot of wide receivers and while Terrance Williams is on IR/suspension and Tavon Austin is ailing, it still made sense that that a receiver would be released considering that’s where Cooper plays. Just a few hours after the Cooper trade was announced a different...

The Redskins will be without a trio of key offensive playmakers. The Cowboys are out on the East Coast for a critical divisional matchup with the Washington Redskins — a game that has the potential to get the Cowboys in the playoff hunt, or derail all of the momentum that was built following the 40-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars a week ago. Let’s check in on who will not be suiting up for the silver and blue as they look to knock off Washington this afternoon. Cowboys vs. Washington final injury report: Cowboys look very healthy heading into NFC East clash

All signs are looking good for the Cowboys as far as health is concerned. The Dallas Cowboys are as healthy as could possibly be hoped for as this stage in the season. Sure, there have been some guys sent to IR and that’s never good, especially when one is Travis Frederick, but to only have one guys as questionable, and two ruled out att his stage in the season is pretty darn good.
