Jaguars hope Toby Gerhart can be their bell-cow RB

On Monday, Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said he's got a fever. And the only prescription is more bell cow. OK, he didn't say that, but he did express a wish that you hear out of many head coaches at this time of year, that their lead running back can truly be a lead running back. When Bradley was asked by NFL.com's Marc Sessler if he believes Toby Gerhart would be his bell-cow running back, Bradley responded, "That's what we hope to see. ... We like what we saw on tape." When asked if Toby Gerhart would be the Jaguars feature back, head coach Gus Bradley expressed that it was the plan. The Jacksonville Jaguars signed free agent running back Toby Gerhart to a three-year deal in free agency, a deal which points to him being the feature running back for the Jaguars going forward. Coach has high hopes for former Vikings RB I asked Gus Bradley if Toby Gerhart would be his bell-cow back. 'That's what we hope to see ... we like what we saw on tape.' (Marc Sessler via Twitter) FF Today's Take: The Jags signed Gerhart to a three-year deal worth $10.5 million with $4.5 million guaranteed earlier this month. Opportunity is going drive Gerhart's fantasy value this summer and he should be taken as an RB3 once mock draft season heats up. Gerhart has spent the last four seasons behind Adrian Peterson in Minnesota.
