Several Panthers stock rising up fantasy value boards

Several Panthers stock rising up fantasy value boards

I liked what I saw from the offense in Week 1 of the preseason. The Panthers offense was fairly vanilla as expected against the Bills in their preseason opener, but I did like what I saw. Cam Newton’s passing numbers were nothing spectacular; it was the skill players that impressed me. Newton has some speed to throw too in the form of wide receivers DJ Moore, Jarius Wright, Torrey Smith and of course running back Christian McCaffrey. CB Daryl Worley pleads guilty to DUI, likely facing league discipline

In April of this year, cornerback Daryl Worley was arrested in Pennsylvania on charges of DUI, possessing firearms in public and resisting arrest. He was promptly released by his then-team, the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, who had traded Torrey Smith to the Panthers for him as soon as the 2018 league year began. Ross Cockrell may have broken his leg at practice today

The Carolina Panthers’ secondary suffers a set back with the injury of a cornerback. Carolina Panthers cornerback Ross Cockrell went to the ground in apparent agony today after a collision with wide receiver Torrey Smith at practice. Cockrell’s right leg was the apparent location of the injury but there is no news, short of speculation, on the exact nature of the injury. Suspicion is currently some sort of fracture and the descriptions of the scene were ugly. Could actually hear a bone crack and scream from Cockrell. Players reacting in horror. Awful. Wishing him the best.— Jourdan...

Ask CSR: Who are your all time favorite Panthers?

Ask CSR: Who are your all time favorite Panthers?

The CSR staff lays out their top 4 players to ever wear the black and blue. For a young franchise, Carolina Panthers have already had some tremendous players. You could call some of them generational talents, or in some cases just generational characters. New Panthers wide receiver Torrey Smith was asked recently by NFL.com for his version of a league-wide ‘Mount Rushmore.’ Here is our staff giving their versions of that for the Panthers. Erik Sommers Steve Smith, Thomas Davis, Cam Newton, and Julius Peppers. What a list. So many legends could go on here... you’ve obviously got guys...
