When will the Ravens hand Joe Flacco the keys to the offense?

When will the Ravens hand Joe Flacco the keys to the offense?

The Baltimore Ravens were lambasted in London this past Sunday, and nary a player or coach is without fault. While much of the focus is on a defense who left all its energy on the other side of the Atlantic and an offensive line in shambles, the Ravens only franchise quarterback in history does not emerge unscathed. While it is not productive being over-reactionary to the Ravens first time appearing in the loss column in 2017, we expect them to bounce back at home against rival Pittsburgh this coming Sunday, the sight of Joe Flacco appearing out of his depth against the Jaguars caused me to...

Ravens vs. Jaguars Postgame: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Ravens vs. Jaguars Postgame: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

It’s been a day since the London blowout, and I believe the emotions ramped sky-high have begun to fall back into the atmosphere. I will not mince words, the game was terrible, but multiple Ravens did produce on both sides; though it sure didn’t feel like it during the game. PFF submit five offensive and defensive producers and grades, though they’re not all good. Ravens Offense Alex Collins, as I praised yesterday, was the hardest working offensive player. He forced three missed tackles, and averaged six yards after contact per attempt. He was getting hit in the backfield, nearly...

The Jaguars head to London and crush the Baltimore Ravens

THERE WAS ONE QUESTION IN THE MINDS OF THE JAGUAR FAITHFUL THIS WEEK.  WHICH TEAM WILL SHOW UP?  THE JAGS ANSWERED THAT QUESTION WITH ONE OF THEIR BEST PERFORMANCES EVER! It was obvious from the very first snap that the Jacksonville Jaguars team that played the Tennessee Titans did not travel to London.  The team […] The Jaguars head to London and crush the Baltimore Ravens - Black and Teal - Black and Teal - A Jacksonville Jaguars Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more.

Analyzing the Ravens’ offensive line in week three’s loss to the Jaguars

Analyzing the Ravens’ offensive line in week three’s loss to the Jaguars

The Ravens had a terrible showing in Week three. They lost 44-7 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Below I will analyze the offensive line’s play in week three. Remember, this was the first full game without Marshal Yanda, who is out for the season with an ankle injury. Run-Blocking: Alex Collins made a great cut and gained three yards. The offensive line did a solid job creating space for Collins, on this play. Ronnie Stanley missed his blocking assignment, who chipped Collins. Then, Jermaine Eluemunor could not sustain his block, which allowed his assignment to finish the hit on...

Purple across the pond: What it’s like being a Ravens fan in London

The Baltimore Ravens traveled to London Sunday to play in their first ever international matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Unfortunately, they didn’t show up for the game like they should have, dropping a 44-7 clunker to what was supposed to be a basement team in the AFC. But for some in the stands, it was a bittersweet game because they finally got to see their team play in person for the first time at historic Wembley stadium. Regardless of the shameful performance, Sunday was a big day for Baltimore and their fans, and those who root for the Purple and Black across the Atlantic...

POLL: Does somebody need to be fired?

POLL: Does somebody need to be fired?

The Baltimore Ravens just suffered their worst loss, maybe ever. The went to London with the best defense in the league, and came home with Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars hanging 44 points on the Ravens. Keep in mind, this defense was best in the league, the past two weeks. They have eight interceptions on the year, and two fumble recoveries. But after a game like this, does something need to change? Does there need to be a personnel change?

Ravens Blown Out By Jaguars In London

The Baltimore Ravens are undefeated no more as they were blown out Sunday in London by the Jacksonville Jaguars 44-7. Week three Ravens-Jaguars game recap, highlights, final takeaways and more

The Ravens first ever game in London is finally here. Below is a quick recap of Baltimore’s week three matchup against the Jaguars: First Half: The Jaguars opening kick sailed out of bounds, which gave Baltimore great field position to start the game. The Ravens started on their own 40-yard line. Mike Wallace takes the end-around for a five-yard gain. On second-down, Joe Flacco’s pass is incomplete. On third-down, Flacco is sacked by Dante Fowler Jr, resulting in a Ravens punt. A short punt by Sam Koch and Jacksonville will start on their own 37-yard line. On second-down, Blake Bortles...

Ravens vs. Jaguars: 1 Winner, 45 Losers

Ravens vs. Jaguars: 1 Winner, 45 Losers

I would have much rather stayed in bed, than watched this game. It looked like 45 players on the team would have agreed. Alex Collins — The only spark I saw on the offense. The practice squad to promoted tailback fought tooth & nail to gain yards for the Ravens. Losers: As I always say, every player has a bad game. From Brady, Marino, Montana, Rice and every other great in the Hall of Fame, they have bad games. This is to only comment about their performance, and should be understood as such. Literally Every Raven. They took tours around London. They were out checking out cars and hanging...

Open Thread: Baltimore Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars will square off in Wembley Stadium in London, England today. While it is clearly a long way from home for both teams, the Jaguars will technically be the home game and will only get to play seven games in their usual home stadium this season. Past NFL games in London have been rather sloppy and just of a generally lower quality than most other regular season football, but perhaps we will get lucky with this one. The matchup itself does not necessarily lend itself toward an entertaining game with both teams sporting strong defenses and...

Week 3 AM schedule: Starting eaaaarly with a live stream of Ravens-Jaguars

Way too early football for you! How about some breakfast football? Well, it’s breakfast on the east coast, and watching from bed on the west coast. The Jacksonville Jaguars “host” the Baltimore Ravens at London’s Wembley Stadium, with the game kicking off at 6:30 a.m. PT. It’s insanity to play football that early, but the NFL has to get that sweet, sweet London money, right? The game is only available on TV in the Jacksonville and Baltimore markets, but the game will be available on a live stream for everybody to watch. Verizon bought the rights and are streaming it via NFL on...
