Chicago Bears 2018 Draft Roundtable: Linebackers

Chicago Bears 2018 Draft Roundtable: Linebackers

A roundtable discussion on two of the top prospects in this draft class and whether there is value to be found if the Bears look elsewhere with their first round pick. It’s week 5 in the 2017 season. Passionate Bear Danny Trevathan is suspended for playing through the whistle and incidentally knocking helmets with some whiny Packers receiver whose name escapes me. 2016 All-Star Jerrell Freeman and up-and-comer Nick Kwiatkoski are both out due to pectoral injuries. Franklin-Myers finished his four-year tenure with the Lumberjacks with 17.5 sacks and 37.5 tackles for a loss. He was invited to the NFL Combine in February and put together a solid performance: he ran a 4.75 40-yard dash with a 1.66 10-yard split, and he...
