The Cardinals traded starting right guard Reggie Wells to the Eagles Friday for an undisclosed draft pick. ESPN.com reported it will be a sixth-round pick. Wells played seven seasons for the Cardinals after being taken by the team in the sixth round in the 2003 draft. From South Park, Pa., Wells played at Clarion in Pennsylvania, so he will be close to home with the Eagles. The Cardinals had a glut of guards after the acquisition of Alan Faneca and Rex Hadnot in free agency. Wells played in 104 games, starting 90 of them.
