Bucs Beat | St. Petersburg Times — Raheem Morris said the Bucs will face some tough decisions in order to cut their roster from 75 to 53 players by Saturday's deadline. Bucs Beat | St. Petersburg Times — Josh Freeman conducted a very successful test of his broken right (throwing) thumb last night, leaving the Bucs encouraged that he'll be fine when the season opens next Sunday. But his injury will cause him to modify some things. Bucs Beat | St. Petersburg Times — Receiver Preston Parker made his final push to make the final roster tonight, and all he can do is hope it was enough. Though he probably doesn't make the team based on his contributions as a receiver, Parker did catch two passes for 45 yards against the Texans tonight, including a 29-yard reception.
