Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Friday

Fantasy Hockey Scouts — Things don't look so good for Joffrey Lupul as he left last night's game after playing under 2 minutes. He looked to get inadvertently head butted by Adam Hall during a hard check. He got up slowly holding his head and I'd be shocked if he doesn't have a concussion. It was good while it lasted, I suppose. Craig Anderson has deemed himself ready to go and I'd be surprised if he wasn't starting tonight's game, but wait for official word on that. Ryan Getzlaf had to exit towards the end of Wednesday night's game with a LBI. He did not practice yesterday but coach expects him to play tonig...

Flyers vs. Canadiens preview: Oh, right, there's a game today

Broad Street Hockey — Alright then. So after what was a pretty damn boring trade deadline till around 2:30 or so, but one of ultimately little long-term consequence for the Flyers (Adam Hall and Steve Mason, you guys!), we turn our attention back to the happenings on the ice, where somehow the Flyers do still have a small if existent chance at the playoffs. But if they want to further that chance, they need pretty much every win they can get, and at home on the first game of a back-to-back, this would be a nice place to start. Montreal Canadiens (23-7-5, 51 pts) at Philadelphia Flyers (15-17-3, 33 pts)7:30 ...

He's a bottom-six forward who can kill penalties and take faceoffs. Nothing special, but he can fill Max Talbot's role as a stop gap for the rest of the season. More than anything else, Hall's acquisition probably indicates that ...
