Bruins Blog | Providence Journal — By Brian MacPhersonBOSTON -- Neither Wade Redden nor Dennis Seidenberg will suit up for the Bruins in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals at TD Garden on Sunday afternoon. "Both of them skated this morning, Reds and Seidenberg, but both won't be available today," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. Julien already had ruled Andrew Ference out of action when he met with reporters on Wednesday. Ference hasn't skated in practice since the series began. Without Ference, Redden and Seidenberg, the Bruins figure again to dress rookies Torey Krug, Dougie Hamilton and Matt Bartkowski.

Boston Herald — There were some signs of improvement in the health of a couple of the Bruins’ injured defensemen yesterday as the team reconvened for practice at TD Garden in preparation for today’s Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the New York Rangers.Dennis Seidenberg, Andrew Ference and Wade Redden all missed Game 1 with undisclosed injuries. The only certain no-go for today is Ference, who’s been missing since Game 5 against Toronto. Bruins coach Claude Julien said Ference is yet to skate.

Andrew Ference (foot) remained off the ice. Following practice, Redden said he wouldn’t be ready to play Saturday night if there were a game.
