2016 World Cup of Hockey: Blackhawks' Artem Anisimov, Artemi Panarin make Team Russia's roster

The Chicago forward duo will represent their home country. Chicago Blackhawks forwards Artem Anisimov and Artemi Panarin have been named to Team Russia's roster for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia announced Friday. Both players were named to the team's initial roster in March. Anisimov, 27, scored a career-high 20 goals and 42 points in 77 games in his first season for Chicago. The 27-year-old forward will miss the World Championships in his native Russia. Chicago Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov underwent right wrist surgery Tuesday, the team announced. The procedure was performed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital by Blackhawks Head Team Physician Dr. Michael Terry. "Artem Anisimov underwent surgery today to repair an injury on his right wrist.
