Artem Anisimov is the 8th member of the Blackhawks with a no-movement clause

You know how we thought seven NMCs was a lot? It's actually eight. It turns out another member of the Chicago Blackhawks has a no-movement clause. Our pals over at Cap Friendly uncovered that Artem Anisimov's new contract, which goes into effect next season, has a no-movement clause through the 2017-18 season and a partial no-trade clause in 2018-19. That means that eight different players on Chicago will have a no-movement clause through at least the next two seasons. No other team in the NHL comes close to having that many NMCs on the books, but GM Stan Bowman hasn't been shy in handing...

No, not Jonathan Toews'. A different one. While one of the Chicago Blackhawks doesn't feel the need for a mansion in Lincoln Park, another one, evidently, does. Around the time reports came out about Jonathan Toews selling the mansion he bought - downsizing, because even he doesn't need that much room - Artem Anisimov was busy buying his own place in the area. Toews' place was a 6,400-square-foot, five-bedroom mansion; Anisimov's new digs are 6,650-square-feet with six bedrooms, according to the Chicago Tribune. 2016 World Cup of Hockey: Blackhawks' Artem Anisimov, Artemi Panarin make Team Russia's roster

The Chicago forward duo will represent their home country. Chicago Blackhawks forwards Artem Anisimov and Artemi Panarin have been named to Team Russia's roster for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia announced Friday. Both players were named to the team's initial roster in March. Anisimov, 27, scored a career-high 20 goals and 42 points in 77 games in his first season for Chicago.
