Oilers closely monitor goalie situation

Edmonton Oilers general manager Peter Chiarelli knows there’s no perfect scenario to acquiring another goalie, either at the NHL entry draft later this week or on July 1 when the free-agent window swings open. He either needs a tag-team partner for Ben Scrivens, who has one year left on his contract at $2.3 million, or someone who can take over the No. 1 job.
