Fire & Ice | Bergen Record — With the team eliminated from playoff contention, Devils captain Bryce Salvador will sit out the final three regular season games to give his bruised right wrist/thumb more time to heal. Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello said Salvador had his wrist/thumb looked at by a specialist today. “Right now, they do not feel an operation is needed, but they want to give it a little more time to settle down,” Lamoriello said.
