Connor McDavid compares himself to Claude Giroux -- not Sidney Crosby

Instead he's said he admires the 200-foot game and offensive ability of one of Crosby's rivals, Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux. "I'd compare myself to someone who is very reliable in his own zone and can be put out there in the last two minutes of a game to either score a goal or to defend the goal," McDavid said. h/t Alex

The performance of Giroux in the tournament, scoring 10 points in 10 games. Many of those points were of the insanely ridiculous variety, because we are talking about Claude Giroux. But what's even more awesome? Giroux celebrating a title ... like this: Giroux is casually naked in the background...
Nucks Misconduct May 3, 2015

Sometimes, you have a moment of inspiration. Others, your alarm doesn't go off, and well... here we are. Unlike yesterday, where there was just 1 NHL Playoff game, an impressive basketball game (I am using the words of others, I have no idea what would constitute that) and the biggest grift in the history of mankind that long awaited face-punching thing, today there's hockey all day. Claude Giroux just...
