The New York Rangers dodged a massive bullet this morning as Dan Girardi took to the ice for today's scheduled practice at the MSG Training Center. Defenseman Dan Girardi is on the ice for the Rangers’ practice today at MSG Training Center after being struck in the face with a deflected puck in Thursday night’s 2-1 Game 1 win over Pittsburgh. Girardi did not return after being hit in the right side of his face with a deflected Chris Kunitz shot with 9:29 remaining in the third period. After the game, Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said Girardi was being examined by the dentist, so he might have had some damage to his teeth. Girardi has no obvious marks on his face today and is not wearing any extra protection on his helmet....
