Girardi is practicing, Brassard is not

Dan Girardi missed most of the last two periods of the Rangers’ 2-1 win over the Bruins on Monday night after suffering a cut on his hand after being struck by the puck. At the time, coach Alain Vigneault said the preliminary indications were that Girardi did not suffer a broken bone. That must be the concluding indication as well because Girardi is on ice for today’s practice here at the MSG Training Center in Greenburgh, though it’s not clear whether he will be in the lineup for Thursday’s nights game against the Islanders for second place in the Metropolitan Division at Barclays...
