Canucks Brunch- Passed. Past. Passed.

Nucks Misconduct — I had hoped that Canucks GM Mike Gillis might have been able to swing another deal, anything really, to try and shore up the Canucks and give them something that will shake things up and get them playing the kind of hockey they, on paper at least should be playing. With Derek Roy now a Canuck, and Ryan Kesler soon to be rejoining the team, the Canucks will be (save for David Booth) be as healthy as they can be in this last season of the month. Zack Kassian's back from Chicago after his time out for being a wealthy 22 year old athlete, and so we're supposed to be optimistic, right? I...

Afternoon Buzz: Wait, what is this shit?

Nucks Misconduct — Morning Afternoon, everyone. Hope you all had a good weekend and weren't up until 8 am like a certain blogger I know. He wasn't blogging either, he was drinking - a lot. Anyways, we've got some Canucks stuff, some other shit from around the league. If you've walked it off and had a salt tablet, lets get at it! Canucks News: >> Just when you thought that Sami Salo was the most unlucky, injury prone Canuck of all time, David Booth comes along and...well, lets be real here. Booth Wrecks Ankle (Animals Everywhere Rejoice), Kassian's Back Still Nagging Him

Nucks Misconduct — It's almost a tragic comedy. The Canucks have proven repeatedly that their identity for this season is inconsistency. Hard-working efforts here, tired-looking, disinterested efforts there.....and now the injury bug is really hitting them. David Booth left Rogers Arena on crutches and will be getting an MRI done. He will likely miss 4-6 weeks if the MRI reveals a fracture. Zack Kassian's back was bothering him during the lockout while he was playing for the Chicago Wolves. He thought it would go away as he played more games. Nope.He is still listed as day-to-day. Sadly enough, these are...

Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Sunday

Fantasy Hockey Scouts — Well this is a little unusual but we have to give our fantasy stat-line of the night to the returning Joffrey Lupul as he made up for missing 25 games with a broken arm by scoring twice and adding four PIMs, five shots & six hits. David Booth left last night's game with what looked like a serious ankle injury. Not so serious, actually more of a joke, has been his production this year with just three points in 12 games so I think you'll be able to find a replacement. A non-major LBI is apparently what kept Michael Ryder out of last night's game... he should be ok soon enough. Zack ...
