Boston Bruins: Looks like David Pastrnak will be staying on top line

The Boston Bruins dominated the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night thanks to the always amazing 1st line. There is something special about the Boston Bruins 1st line. They have a chemistry that we have never seen before. It’s almost like these guys were born to play with one another. When David Pastrnak, Patrice Bergeron, […] Boston Bruins: Looks like David Pastrnak will be staying on top line - Chowder and Champions - Chowder and Champions - A Boston Sports Site - Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and More!

Paul Carey has been assigned to Providence

It was a decent showing, but there’s no room at the inn. The Bruins announced this afternoon that forward Paul Carey has been assigned to Providence, ending his brief NHL stint. Carey appeared in two games with the Bruins, but didn’t record a point. He looked pretty good in his first game, but was lost in the shuffle a bit more in the second. With David Pastrnak’s return and the pending return of Marcus Johansson, there simply wasn’t room left on the roster for Carey. He may be called back up as a Black Ace once the playoffs start, or in the event of (KNOCK ON WOOD) another injury.

Bruins vs. Devils 3/21/19 RECAP: Bruins pull away in 3rd to win 5-1!

Couldn’t have asked for a more dull but fun beatdown! First Period: This was looking like a period that wouldn’t have much going on as most Devils games do, hardly getting close to an acceptable amount of shots on either side, plenty of zone time that went nowhere, you know the drill... ...and then Patrice Bergeron from a David Pastrnak feed happened! Danton Heinen Should Have Been Gone At NHL Trade Deadline

Danton Heinen should have been gone at the NHL trade deadline, but here we are in March with him still on this Boston Bruins team. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!! Good news, folks! “Looks like” David Pastrnak will play tonight, per Bruce Cassidy. But will see how he is following morning skate. He’s officially a game-time decision.— Boston Bruins (@NHLBruins) March 19, 2019 From there, it’s kind of hard to figure out what Bruce Cassidy is going to do with the lines. He will probably put David Pastrnak on the first line, at least for now. Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - David Pastrnak After that, it’s a grab bag.
