Kulikov sparks comeback but Panthers fall short in 4-3 shootout loss to Stars

It was unspoken, but a given that the Stars would seek some kind of retribution against Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov for a low hit on Tyler Seguin three weeks ago that basically ruined the All-Star center's career-best season while also crushing Dallas' playoff hopes.

SUNRISE ----- Indirectly or not, Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov’s low hit on Tyler Seguin last month not only ended any chance for the All-Star forward to be the leading goal scorer in the NHL, but basically crushed the Stars’ chances of reaching the playoffs.
