Ups and Downs: Week 24

They're still trending up! The Senators have been on quite the run lately. They beat the Hurricanes, Bruins, and Maple Leafs in the last week, putting the team on a six-game winning streak heading into tonight. Biggest gains: Kyle Turris Turricane was the NHL's second star of the week, meaning he pretty much had to be this team's first star for the week. He put up six points (two of which were empty-net goals), helping the Sens to conquer the competition this week. With the exception of the second vs. Toronto, he looked really good this week. Biggest losses: Jared Cowen This year has taken...

Full coverage of the game between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins on 19 March 2015. The Ottawa Senators play easily their most important game in the post-Daniel Alfredsson era when they host the Boston Bruins tonight. Game 66 preview: Ottawa Senators @ Canadiens de Montréal

A preview of the game between the Ottawa Senators and Montréal Canadiens on 12 March 2015. The Ottawa Senators return to action following a disappointing 3-1 loss at home to the Boston Bruins. Ottawa played very well, outshooting the Bruins by almost a 2:1 ratio and hitting three goalposts but ending up losing anyway. Tonight they play the kings of not playing very well but winning anyway: les Canadiens. The Senators will make two changes with Jared Cowen returning to the lineup in the place of Eric Gryba while Andrew Hammond will start in net. Here are the lines and pairings...

Full Coverage, Game 62: Ottawa Senators at Winnipeg Jets

Full coverage of the game between the Jets and Senators on March 4th. The unexpectedly wild road trip comes to a close tonight in Winnipeg.  The Sens moved up a point closer to Boston last night, but the point left on the table means they no longer control their own fate. No skate today, so the lineups are a bit of a guess.  Colin Greening goes in for Matt Puempel.  Jared Cowen is a game time decision - if I had to guess who would come out if Cowen goes in, I'd go with Patrick Wiercioch out of habit. Craig Anderson was confirmed as the starter... then 5 minutes later he wasn't after...
