A nagging groin injury has kept one of the Blues' top guys out for the last six games. We haven't seen Jay Bouwmeester in a game since November 22nd. We probably won't be seeing him tonight against the Nashville Predators, either. Bouwmeester tweaked his groin in a freak incident: "It was kind of weird. Someone fell down, I kind of jumped over his stick and something seized up." Of course it's something weird. Hockey World: NHL iron men a rare, tough breed

Ulcers ate away at Edmonton Oilers assistant coach Craig Ramsay’s stomach two decades ago before doctors had to remove it and hooked up his small intestine to his esophagus so he could eat, but Ramsay’s stomach for playing night after night in Buffalo, 776 straight games, was legendary.
