Silver Seven — Firstly, outside of Erik Karlsson (and this year's version of Craig Anderson), there is no one more talented in the Ottawa Senators organization than Jason Spezza. Kyle Turris has done an admirable job of filling in this season, but Jason Spezza isn't a good player, he is a great player. He has that special next level that allows him to do things no other forward on the Senators can do. He makes his wingers considerably more effective, and I swoon to think of the effect he will have on the ineffectual power play. Silver Seven — Coming off four straight losses, the Senators knew they had to open the game strong and they did, outshooting the Bolts 13-8 in the first frame and leaving the period with a 1-0 lead. The Senators got on the scoreboard after Kyle Turris handcuffed Ben Bishop with a shot that caught him in the shoulder, and the popped up in the air so that Daniel Alfredsson could bat it into the net.
