Sharks can’t hold lead, fall to wild in shootout

On Nov. 20, the Sharks will embark on a stretch of 11 home games in a span of 13 contests. Thursday, the road was a bit bumpy as the Sharks failed to hold two two-goal leads in a 4-3 shootout loss to Minnesota. After Logan Couture scored in the shootout for San Jose, Koivu scored on a backhand to tie it after two rounds.

Sharks finish first road trip with 5-3 loss to Boston

The Sharks had a good burst of scoring late in the second period, but San Jose falls 5-3 to the Bruins after giving up a third period lead. The Sharks finished their first long road trip 2-2-1. The lines went through the blender for tonight's game, with mixed results. Skating with new linemate Tommy Wingels, Logan Couture had his best game of the season, but the bottom six continued to look like a mess. Savior of the galaxy, James Sheppard, returned to the Sharks lineup for the first time this season. He skated as the third-line center with Tomas Hertl and Andrew Desjardins as his wings....
