Canadiens' Lelbanc In Team's Future Plans

CBSSports.com Fantasy — Montreal general manager Marc Bergevin acknowledged Louis Leblanc took a step back in his development in 2012-13, but the 2009 first-round pick is still in the team's plans, the Montreal Gazette reports. Time for Louis Leblanc to get a chance

Habs Eyes On The Prize — With all due respect to Michael Blunden, he is not the kind of player that the Montreal Canadiens need right now. With Brian Gionta out, Max Pacioretty and Michael Ryder hampered with obvious injuries, and Lars Eller just beginning a process of getting back that takes at least a week, the Habs need someone who can score. The call up for Leblanc is likely a breath of fresh air, as the 22 year old forward has been struggling in Hamilton all season, and could use a fresh start. The most confusing choice though, is the call up of Nokelainen. Not only is Nokelainen not useful in a...

Hamilton Bulldogs Player of the week: Louis Leblanc

Habs Eyes On The Prize — If you're tired of the negativity surrounding the Canadiens losing to the Leafs last night, look no further for some positivity. On Wednesday, Leblanc and the Bulldogs opened the week with a 6-4 win over the Toronto Marlies, in that game Leblanc scored twice, including the game winner. On Leblanc's first goal he showed off his slick stick-handling before backhanding the puck into the yawning cage. For his sec...
