Revisiting the Marc Savard Incident, and the NHL's Lack of a Response

March 7, 2010 is a very harrowing date in recent Bruins history. It’s also a black eye on the NHL, a date and an incident the league undoubtedly wishes it could do-over.

He played two seasons for the OHL's Oshawa Generals before being drafted in the fourth round, 91st overall, by the New York Rangers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He had 139 points in 66 games in his draft year. Savard spent another two years in the OHL before he joined the New York Rangers in the 1997-98 season.
