New York Rangers defenseman Marc Staal took part in a skate this morning to continue to work on his conditioning, but Staal told reporters that he would not be playing tonight in the Rangers Game 5 matchup with the Washington Capitals. Ryane Clowe was present at the New York Rangers optional morning skate, along with Carl Hagelin, Brian Boyle, Derek Dorsett, and Marc Staal. Clowe told the media after the skate that he is a game time decision for Game 3, but the expectation is that he will play tonight in place of Arron Asham. Ryane Clowe returned to the ice for his second straight day as the New York Rangers prepare to take on the Washington Capitals in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals. Clowe has been sidelined since April 25th, after he caught an inadvertent elbow from Bobby Sanguinetti.
