Yesterday, two days following his arbitration hearing in Toronto, Blake Wheeler was given a one-year, $2.2 million award. Wheeler has yet to sign a contract for 2010-11. According to general manager Peter Chiarelli, signing a deal is considered to be a formality once the Bruins present Wheeler with the paperwork, most likely today or this weekend.
