Canucks Goal Of The Season FINAL: Bonino vs Vrbata

It all comes down to this. We have sifted through and voted on 32 Canucks' goals total and now we are down to 2! Are you ready? Let's get it on! 1. On March 21, it looked liked the Kings could hold on to a 1-0 lead. However, Radim Vrbata makes a slick little flop/aerial pass from the boards out in front to Nick Bonino who uses his 9 iron to chip it past the clueless Jonathan Quick: I've never seen that before, have you? I don't blame Quick for being clueless on this one because unless he were John Garrett, ain't nobody stopping that shiz. These guys couldn't make that play again. It's just...

Canucks Goal Of The Season: Quarterfinal Br 4: Higgins vs Vrbata

Two very phenomenal goals in this final bracket of he quarter-final. 1. Chris Higgins had not scored a goal in 17 games. Position: RW Shoots: Right Height: 6''1' Weight: 194 lbs of Czech awesomeness Born: June 13, 1981 in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic, the same hometown as what used to be known as Martin Havlat. What'd he do? Vrbata arrived in Vancouver as a free agent, being courted by the Bruins, Canadiens, Devils and the Coyotes, his team for the past five seasons. Opting to leave the mess in Phoenix for the moneybags Sir...

Botchford: Would the Vancouver Canucks trade Radim Vrbata? Would you?

Botchford: Would the Vancouver Canucks trade Radim Vrbata? Would you?

He was voted the team’s most valuable player, scored the most goals, carried the second line and salvaged the power play. By any measure, last July’s acquisition of Radim Vrbata was a bonafide home run, and, arguably, the Canucks’ best move in Jim Benning’s first year.
