Nugent-Hopkin's surgery ‘went well'

Edmonton Journal — Even with his surgically-repaired left arm cradled in a sling and a long arduous rehabilitation in front of him, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins figures he will be a stronger player when he returns to action. The Edmonton Oilers sophomore centre underwent surgery to have a torn labrum repaired on April 23. The tear was worse than it appeared on the MRIs, but the surgeon was optimistic that Nugent-Hopkins would be back in the lineup within five to six months.
