One of 4 positive possession players for the Ducks in this series, Koivu has taken tough competition and extreme defensive zone starts and still managed 3 points in 6 games. It's basically impossible to not cheer for the guy unless you have no heart. On the other side though, are the aging Detroit Red Wings, in their last Western Conference playoffs. As soon as Saku Koivu won the face-off, the Ducks went for a change. Gustav Nyquist took advantage of the sloppy change and took the puck into the Ducks zone. The Anaheim Ducks overachieved for most of the year, and they managed to win a tough Pacific Division. They grabbed a tough draw with the Detroit Red Wings, but if there's anything that former Hab Saku Koivu is used to, it's slaying dragons. Oh and there's that other guy worth cheering for named Teemu Selanne.
